The Gardener’s Hut is located within a fenced and gated private garden.
The hut sleeps 2 adults with room for a small child or dog (the dining table folds down leaving room for a cot or a small dog basket).
There is room on the lawn for a 2 person children’s tent (please contact Kate for conditions and details).
The hut contains a super comfy king size bed with luxury duvet, 4 pillows and linens, luxury throws and cushions, hot water bottles and slippers.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink and flushing toilet, towel rail with luxury towels, dressing gowns, Molton Brown hand wash and hand cream, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
The galley kitchen area contains a Belfast sink, fridge, microwave oven, hob, toaster, kettle with the usual utensils.
There is a large space for storage under the bed and a wardrobe for coats etc.
We provide coffee, tea, milk, bread, logs and kindling on arrival for the wood burning stove.
There is a small folding table and chairs with a large armchair to relax and unwind, we also provide a heater.
Within the garden setting is a dining table, with four chairs, 2 teak loungers chairs & foot stools, ideally placed for enjoying the sun, an awning off the Gardener's Hut provides more sheltered seating and parasol for the chairs.
There is a BBQ, and a small “egg shaped” BBQ, to enjoy outside dining.
Behind the hut is the garden shed which contains a large fridge/freezer and a combi oven. We also store the fire lighting equipment and is large enough for prams etc. Private Parking is a short walk to the secluded garden and hut.
The hut is dog friendly and dog safe, non smoking, child friendly with a private lawn and water feature.
Challow Farmhouse - Accommodation
2023 marked a change in our hospitality offering at Challow Farmhouse. We decided to be more flexible, more diverse, and therefore appeal to a wider audience. Our hospitality now comprises of three different types of accommodation, allowing us to offer better facilities for families and pets.
Breakfasts
We offer a choice of home-made breakfast, delivered to your door. You can self-cater, or visit our local villages in, or near, Corfe Castle.
The Coach House
This accommodation is located principally on the first floor; a studio living space with a super-king or twin bedroom with an ensuite shower, lounge area (with a large TV) and log effect electric fire. Together with the kitchen and a dining area there is an outside balcony with table and chairs.
The Woodlander's Hut
Our luxury eco-hut is situated in its own private woodland garden. It has a galley kitchen, dining table and chairs, a lounge area (with a wood burning stove), a king size bed with an ensuite shower, outside loungers in a tea hut and an outside dining area.
